This project speculates on how digital and technological literacy is affecting and will continue to challenge the way we perceive visual inputs and our environment, renegotiating the way we exist in the digital realm. Is what we understand from these inputs something concretised or can it be seen in a different perspective? Can human visual perception of pictorial mediums, that reproduce reality, become so abstract and generic, that these mediums will be represented by a geometry formalised from the matrix of their intensities? Employing aspects and techniques from visual perception, computer vision and lossy video compression it focuses on articulating on visual impressions and their transformations.
